Save Hornsey and Wood Green Police Stations

Hornsey Police Station

The London Mayor's plan to close both Hornsey and Wood Green's Police Station front counters is totally unacceptable.

Funding for local police services has been cut by both the Government and the Mayor, while people are being put at risk. Hate crime is on the rise since Brexit, and the number of moped-related incidents in Haringey is at unprecedented levels.

The station promotes visible community policing and makes reporting crime easier. Closing the counters would be additional strain on the Tottenham Police Station front counter.

We the undersigned call on: London Mayor Sadiq Khan and the Government to keep the Hornsey Police Station and Wood Green Police Station front counters open and fund the services properly.

I love my police counter – just below my flat.
