"Stop the Speed" on Hampstead Lane

Many local residents have been speaking to us about important issues they are experiencing, in particular speeding on Hampstead Lane.

We believe that the safety of all road users and pedestrians should be considered for any future measures - this is why we are asking for your views on what should be done to help reduce speed and make this road safer.

We have already received some suggestions from speaking to residents such as:

  • Vehicle activated 20mph flashing speed signs
  • New Speed humps
  • Raise the pedestrian crossing at the eastern junction of Hampstead Lane and Bishopswood Rd

As your local Liberal Democrat team, Paul Dennison, Cllr Liz Morris and Cllr Bob Hare, we want to hear your views on Hampstead Lane so that we can help to campaign to reduce speeds on your road.

To have your say, simply complete our five-question survey below:

Do you think that vehicles drive too fast on Hampstead Lane?

Can we keep you updated?
